The SBCA Best of Business Award Program recognizes the best of small businesses throughout the country. Using consumer feedback and other research, the SBCA identifies companies that we believe have demonstrated what makes small businesses a vital part of the American economy. The selection committee chooses the award winners from nominees based off information taken from monthly surveys administered by the SBCA, a review of consumer rankings, and other consumer reports. Award winners are a valuable asset to their community and exemplify what makes small businesses great. Press release available here.
August 2009 –
Orchard Medical has been selected as one of the 10 Finalists for the 2009 Spirit Awards of over 250 nominees. Robin Orchard, Jan Hazelton, and Danielle Tincker gave a presentation to a panel of four distinguished judges, who were very impressed with their application and story.
April 2009 –
In April, Robin Orchard was presented this award for fulfilling a commitment to the advancement of women’s business ownership and demonstrating efforts to increase business and financial opportunities for women.

Orchard Medical Consulting was recently nominated for the Spirit of Enterprise Center’s Overcoming Adversity Award by an anonymous IMPACT Award panelist! The Spirit of Enterprise Awards aims to recognize the best of Arizona’s businesses that embody ethics, energy, and entrepreneurship. Stay tuned for more updates on the Overcoming Adversity Award.
January 2009 –
In January, the Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce nominated Orchard Medical Consulting for the 2009 IMPACT Award! The GPCC honors the accomplishments of businesses and the impact that they’ve made on the greater Phoenix business community. December 2008 –
It is such an honor to be named one of the Top 25 Workplaces For Women by the Arizona Republic for the second year in a row! Arizona Woman magazine searches for companies in Arizona that excel in advancing and nurturing women in the workplace. An independent judging panel evaluated business based on employee benefits and company culture. Congratulations to Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Arizona, Cigna, Verizon Wireless, and Scottsdale Healthcare for also making the list!
November 2008 –
On November 11th, 2008, Orchard Medical Consulting was celebrated as one of the 2008 Comerica Bank Arizona Companies to Watch! CEO of ASBA Joan Koerber-Walked reported that the finalists “generate over a half a billion dollars in sales revenue in 2008, and our excelling in our economy!” Killer Shade, CellTrust Corp., Sindel Technology Solutions, and Sierra Toyota were among the fifty finalists; congratulations to all!
